Accounting Specialist (Project)
San Juan, Puerto Rico · $17.50 - $18.00 p/hQualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum one year accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting principles and the full accounting cycle.
- Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Preparable knowledge in SAP/S4H.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) communication prowess.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and in a team-oriented environment.
- Execute journal entries, uphold balance sheet integrity, manage ledgers, and reconcile accounts and banks.
- Uphold internal controls per organizational standards.
- Analyze financial aspects of new products and transactions for the company and its affiliates, including U.S.
- Support in monthly financial close and perform account reviews.
- Aid the Senior Accountant in departmental duties.
- Analyze and report on general ledger account discrepancies.
- Contribute to audit preparations and execution.
- Generate and present periodic financial reports.
- Assist in compiling specialized reports for management and other departments.
- Work on special projects, including system upgrades and business integrations.
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance regulations.
- Support audit and control measures, and customer service excellence
