Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze business needs to design, implement, and maintain database solutions.
- Document business cases and develop scalable database solutions following best practices.
- Assess, analyze, and enhance data views and reports across the company.
- Recommend and implement reporting tools aligned with strategic goals.
- Develop and document end-to-end solutions from analysis to implementation.
- Create and monitor stored procedures to enhance system efficiency.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.
- Take ownership of proposed solutions to align with business and operational needs.
- Maintain expertise in transactional database schemas and their functions.
- Develop and document metadata and models for reporting repositories.
- Test and validate new or updated models to ensure data accuracy and deliverable quality.
- Generate reports and other deliverables as required.
- Follow standard operational procedures (SOP) for departmental and organizational tasks.
- Collaborate on strategic projects as assigned.
- Knowledge in computers systems such as Analysis Services, Business Objects, Web Intelligence, Data Services, ETL tools.
- Monitor and enhance data warehouse performance.
- Provide technical support for daily enterprise data updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of IT experience.
- At least four (4) years of data modeling experience for OLTP and data warehousing systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of data warehousing frameworks.
- Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft SQL technologies.
- Strong understanding of data structures, source/destination data mapping, and database schemas.
- Hands-on experience with relational, hierarchical, and star schema databases.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Business Objects, Web Intelligence, and ETL software.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and modeling tool evaluations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to meet high workload demands and strict deadlines.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
