Medical Technologist Specialist

Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in medical technology.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory ("bench work").
- Medical Technologist license.
- Knowledge in federal and state regulations, laboratory systems, equipment testing, and procedure development.
- Strong and effective communication in Spanish and proficient in English.
- Attention to detail and customer service excellence.
- Ability to set priorities and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
- Able to work Monday to Fridays, weekends, extended hours, and as needed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage regulatory documentation in accordance with Department of Health and federal regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted to clients in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on changes to state and federal laws applicable to the Medical Technologist profession to provide necessary support to clients.
- Prepare sample portions for laboratory analysis.
- Evaluate loaned units and customer equipment returned for servicing.
- Ensure professional and effective customer service experience y delivering high-quality service.
- Respond to service calls related to laboratory equipment and provide technical guidance.
- Assist the Technical Services team in managing service referrals effectively.
- Refer client visits to Application Specialists as needed.
- Available to collaborate with other departments supporting organizational operations.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily reports on activities and completed tasks.
- Assist in the development of procedures and operational policies to enhance efficiency.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
