Medical Device Sales Consultant

San Juan, Puerto Rico · Healthcare · $45,000 Annually
Overview:
This role is responsible for promoting and selling medical equipment to hospitals and healthcare facilities. The consultant will manage an assigned territory, support existing clients, identify new business opportunities, and meet established sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute weekly client visits and prospecting activities based on sales objectives.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals in line with company policies.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Analyze customer sales data to identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales process.
  • Follow up after installations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Submit sales reports as required and participate in promotional or training events.
  • Assist with overdue account collections and support client engagement activities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of college coursework in Business Administration, Health Sciences, or related field.
  • At least two (2) years of experience selling medical devices or similar technology.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Puerto Rico.
  • Strong communication skills in Spanish (verbal and written); functional English proficiency.
  • Comfortable delivering product presentations and speaking in public.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Skilled in multitasking, meeting deadlines, and working under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of sales strategies, negotiation, and client service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible availability for extended hours, weekends, or holidays if needed.
