Histopathology Sales & Applications Consultant

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients within the Pathology segment across the assigned territory.
  • Promote, present, and sell histopathology products, equipment, and specialized solutions.
  • Plan and conduct customer and prospect visits, including product demonstrations and technical-commercial presentations.
  • Identify growth opportunities through market analysis and review of existing customer performance.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and performance goals.
  • Prepare quotations, document activities in Salesforce, and follow up before, during, and after equipment installations.
  • Provide technical training and application support as an Applications Specialist.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams to align strategies and address customer needs.
  • Participate in commercial events, training activities, and other duties related to the position.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in technical or commercial sales; minimum three (3) years of experience as a Histotechnologist will be considered.
  • Valid Histotechnologist license.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Proven presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify customer needs, and make sound decisions.
  • Results-driven, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Availability to travel within and outside Puerto Rico and to work flexible schedules as required.
  • Working knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
