Salary: $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of laboratory equipment.
- Perform basic diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
- Track and manage equipment received for service.
- Communicate with customers to gather issue details and provide first-level phone support.
- Prepare daily service reports and document work in internal systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Follow safety, decontamination, and operational procedures.
- Transport equipment between locations as needed.
- Maintain an organized workspace and manage tools/parts inventory.
- Monitor equipment performance using remote tools.
- Stay up to date with product knowledge and attend required trainings.
- Support setup and breakdown of equipment for events or trainings.
- Deliver professional, responsive, and courteous customer service at all times.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Associate's degree in biomedical equipment repair, or related field.
- At least one (1) year of technical service or related experience, plus customer service experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Valid driver’s license and passport; willingness to travel.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
